The Black Truffle edition of the Sage Bambino is the pick for kitchens with a darker palette: a deep matte black finish that sits beautifully alongside black grinders, dark worktops and stainless accents. Why the Bambino punches above its size
Most compact espresso machines compromise on the parts that matter. The Bambino doesn't. It uses a commercial-style 54mm portafilter with a full 19g dose, a 15-bar Italian pump regulated to 9 bar at extraction, and digital PID temperature control — the trio responsible for shots with real body and sweetness rather than thin, bitter pours.
Ready in 3 seconds, every time
The ThermoJet heating system takes the machine from asleep to extraction temperature in about 3 seconds, and switches instantly between espresso and steam. Low-pressure pre-infusion wets the puck gently before full pressure, evening out extraction — a feature usually found a price bracket or two up.
Milk that's actually microfoam
The manual steam wand produces proper silky microfoam at 93°C — enough to practise latte art, not just heat milk. Pair it with fresh beans and a quality grinder and the flat whites stop being an aspiration.
